Breaking News: UK Prime Minister in ICU for Coronavirus

UK Prime Minister moved to intensive care unit after symptoms of coronavirus worsened 

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was moved to intensive care after his conditioned worsened on Monday.  

Tested positive for Covid-19 on 27 March

Boris Johnson was tested positive for coronavirus after developing mild symptoms on 27 March 2020. In a video where he announced the news, he has taken the initiative to “work from home” and emphasized that this was the “right thing to do”.

The British Prime Minister started experiencing persistent symptoms on Sunday and was warded at St Thomas Hospital in London. His condition unfortunately worsened on Monday which landed him to be warded into the intensive care unit upon advise by his medical team.

Not on ventilator

It has been reported that Boris Johnson has not been put on a ventilator.  The Prime Minister is reportedly in “excellent care” and is in “high spirits”.

Trump has described Boris Johnson as someone who “doesn’t quit” and “doesn’t give up”. In the same press conference, Trump also mentioned that 2 American pharmaceutical companies have sent representatives to London to work with Boris Johnson’s doctors to assist with his recovery.
